Having a slender figure, Hokuto stands at a height of 5'7. Thick, straight hair of whitish silver reaches her waist and bangs frame her porcelain heart shaped face and like everyone else's eyes in her family, hers are the complete opposite of her hair being such a dark gray that they appear almost black. Even though she spends a lot of her time outdoors, her skin still remains a smooth milky white color.
You may sometimes see her wearing a pair of black, thin wire framed glasses, but she may also wear her contact lens depending on how she may feel. Her clothing consists of a long tube or tank top with black leggings or a type of uniform of black or white that she wore during her time at school. If she does end up wearing something else, it will most likely be something that fits and that is comfortable. She refuses to wear any type of dress as she thinks it makes her look stupid. When colder weather hits, she will throw on a jacket. Underneath of her clothing, she uses ace bandages to comfortably bind her chest so it doesn't get in the way when she battles.
Personality: For the most part, she is quite calm and levelheaded but she can get heated if she gets called "cute" or "helpless". Those words remind her of being something sickly adorable or weak little girl who needs saving, something she doesn't care or even want to be. She also gets heated in the topic of Pokémon. She is very devoted to her own Pokémon and will do anything she can to help them grow up strong and happy. She can’t stand people who don’t treat their own Pokémon with respect.
With the principles that she was given as a child, Hokuto has grown to be a very respectable lady around most people and this is most likely because of her father. It is not very likely you will see her mouthing off to someone or being rude, unless they are causing harm to their Pokemon.
The girl always has to be doing something to keep herself busy. This could be taking a walk somewhere outside, learning more about Pokémon battles by going up against her close friends or family members or getting a good sketch or two in her notebook. Hokuto loves to draw and both people and Pokémon are her favorite subjects. She is always eager to sketch something new.
Background: Born and raised close to the city of Vermillion, Hokuto has been around Pokémon practically ever since she has been able to remember. She lived in a small house with both her parents, Kaji and Aoi, who were retired Pokémon trainers and her older brother, by twelve years, Akira. Hokuto took after her mother in appearance and was born with the same fair colored hair and skin, while her brother had long locks of black of the same as their father.
As a young child, Hokuto loved being outside. Under the careful eye of her mother, she would wander all around and examine all that she could. This included the wild Pokémon that lived nearby their house and unlike a lot of the other small girls, Hokuto was not frightened of the bug Pokémon that were around. She actually found them quite interesting.
When Hokuto had turned the age of 5, Akira had came back from his own journey around the Hoenn region, planning to put off his own adventure for sometime so he could get to know his little sister. When the two of them met in person for the first time, they seemed to bond fairly quickly. Hokuto adored the time that they spent together and as she began to get older, her respect for him grew more and more.
Her daily schedule began with school. Uniform was required, but the white-haired lass didn't mind as long as she didn’t have to wear any type of skirt and the school gave options for females to wear long pants or “skorts.” She did fairly well in school, getting passing grades in everything, certain subjects getting higher grades than others. After school was done, she would come home, finish her chores for the day and then hang out with her brother and his Espeon, “Psy” for the rest of the evening, where they would do various activities. Akira would also teach her small tidbits about Pokémon, such as the different types and what was weak against what. This continued pretty much the same way for some time.
When she turned twelve, Akira decided to bring her along to a small gathering of Pokémon trainers a little ways away from their home, somewhere near Cerulean city. This experience thrilled Hokuto as she had never seen an actual Pokémon battle take place in person, the only battling she had ever witnessed being on TV. She sat and watched as her brother took on opponents with his best three, Espeon, Venasaur and Flygon. The trainers and their Pokémon were very strong. She decided that when she finished her schooling and went on to take a journey of her own, she would be a great trainer like her big brother. She soon began to have a great preference for three different types; fire, water and electric.
The day she graduated from school, she went and got herself registered for her Pokémon license. Being 18, she felt like it was time for her to venture out and start a brand new life. After saying their goodbyes to their parents, the siblings both gave a farewell to each other, Akira planning to possibly head back to Hoenn to finish where he had left off. "I hope your journey is filled with great experiences and even greater friends. I know you’ll become a strong trainer." As she made her way forward, she couldn’t help but imagine the journey that soon lay ahead.
Other info: She loves Pickles and Berries and dislikes cheese, milk and peppers. Even though she doesn’t mind insect Pokemon she can’t stand snake or bat pokemon, including Zubat, ekans, Seviper, Dunsparce, and any evolutions of theirs, Onix and Steelix being an exception. She can’t explain it and knows it’s irrational to be freaked out like that, but it’s something she can’t help. She’s also terrified of needles, such as the ones doctors use.
